Our Rooms
All our rooms and gardens are purpose built and creatively designed learning environments
to meet the needs of the ages of the children in our care.

What We Offer
We know that choosing a nursery is a big decision and here at Toddlers Inn, after years of experience, we think we understand what is important to both parents and children. We realise the demands and pressures parents have in their lives and we therefore offer many different, flexible sessions to suit every parent's needs. Whether you are applying for a funded or self-funding place, or have vouchers from work, we will always endeavour to find what works best for you.
We are continuously seeking to improve our provision even further and have developed our outside areas with yurts, a summer house and a well loved and nurtured allotment that is home to our large family of rabbits, chickens and ducks.
We have recently invested in a nursery mini bus that enables us to provide further opportunities for the children such as exciting visits to the local farm shop, garden centre, Chailey Common and local woodlands. The youngest members of Toddlers Inn enjoy local walks to the church in our new six seater buggy.

Funding Information
From April 2025, the government offers Funded Early Entitlements to help with childcare costs. All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours per week, which we stretch to 11.18 hours per week across the whole year at our all-year-round nursery. Working parents of children aged 9 months to 5 years can access 30 hours per week, stretched to 22.36 hours weekly. This doesn’t mean you get less — it simply spreads the funding evenly so you can rely on childcare every week.
We’re open all year round except Christmas week, making it easier for parents to work consistently. To qualify for 30 hours, parents must work 16 hours or more per week, and it applies to:
-
All children aged 9 months
-
All 2-year-olds
-
All children aged 3 to 5 years
You can also save more with Tax-Free Childcare, which gives back a helpful amount when paying through the scheme.
